Its light and nimble and uses its power much more efficiently (I have not ridden the supersport, this is my assumption because the ducati can not keep up). However the ducati is no match for the high revving striple in the twisties. Keep in mind the ducati is not the S version so it does not have the ohlins. We are both good riders and like to ride aggressive (when safe) do some spirited riding/touring and take the bikes to the twisties. I ride a 18 striple RS in crystal white (its pretty) and my friend bought a brand new 18 ducati supersport around the same time.
